How to load money in eSewa
Put NPR into your wallet. Loading from abroad through MoneyGram is a different company.
Fastest if you already bank on the phone
Load Money → linked bank or mobile bankingNo bank? Cash point or a friend sends. Card load costs 1.75%.
Mobile banking
Needs a bank. Bank may charge; eSewa tariff does not add a load fee here. Bank app → eSewa / Payment, or eSewa Load Fund → Mobile Banking.
Internet banking
Needs a bank. Bank may charge. eSewa Load Fund → Internet banking.
Cash point (agent)
No bank required. Up to NPR 5,000: NPR 5; 5,001–15,000: NPR 15; 15,001–25,000: NPR 25 (deducted from principal). Map in the app, or ask 1660-01-02121.
Send Money from a friend
No bank required. See send-money tariff. Their eSewa app → Send Money → your eSewa ID.
Load via card
No bank required. 1.75% processing fee. Load Fund → card; 10k/txn, 25k/day, 50k/month.
Without a bank
Visit a cash point (agent boards, or the map in the app). Tariff cash-in: NPR 5 / 15 / 25 by amount band, taken from the principal. Or ask someone with eSewa to Send Money to your ID.

How do I add balance from eSewa?
In the app, Load Money. Linked bank or Mobile Banking if you have a bank; otherwise cash point or a friend.
How do I deposit money to my account?
Same as load. There is no separate “deposit” product on the wallet how-to. Remittance deposit from abroad is eSewa Money Transfer.
How do I send money to eSewa?
If you mean load your own wallet, this page. If you mean P2P to someone else’s eSewa, use Send. If you mean from another country, that is remittance.
